Deeksharambh is an orientation programme for first-year BAF, BBI, and BFM students, designed to support a smooth transition into the college environment. The programme provides an overview of the National Education Policy 2020, introduces students to their chosen Programme of study, and familiarizes them with the college’s code of conduct. It also includes campus orientation, interactions with faculty members, and a range of student engagement activities to help students settle in and begin their academic journey with clarity and confidence
2026 - 2027
Orientation Day 1
Orientation Day 1 for FYBAF students was conducted on 16th June 2026. The session provided students with an overview of the college, its facilities, and campus infrastructure. Information regarding the NEP 2020 curriculum and syllabus structure was shared. Students were also briefed about college protocols, rules, and academic expectations. The faculty members and departmental staff were introduced to the students. Overall, the session helped students become familiar with the college environment and their academic journey ahead

Orientation Day 2
Orientation Day 2 for FYBAF students was conducted on 17th June 2026. The session focused on informing students about various scholarship schemes and the guidelines for Unfair Means Prevention. Information regarding the Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Anti-Ragging policies was also shared to ensure a safe and respectful campus environment. Students were introduced to the Students’ Council and Career Katta initiatives for leadership and career development. The importance of participating in extra-curricular activities and sports was highlighted to encourage holistic growth. Overall, the session helped students gain awareness about the opportunities and support systems available in the college.
An enriching session on Ashtanga Yoga and Mantra Meditation was conducted to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being among students by Mrs. Seema Ashar

Orientation Day 3 for FY students was conducted on 18th June 2026. The session commenced with presentations by the Examination Committee and NSS, providing students with important academic and social awareness. Information regarding the Discipline Committee, Research Committee, and Library facilities and regulations was also shared. The Principal warmly welcomed the students and introduced them to the college’s history, values, rules, and code of conduct. The Feedback Committee was also presented, making the session informative and beneficial for all attendees. Students actively participated and gained valuable insights about college life and opportunities

2025 - 26
Deeksharambh was conducted for all First Year Students of BAF, BBI & BFM Department from 16th to 18th June 2025. The students were addressed by Vice-Principal Dr. Shivaji Pawar, Program coordinator Ms Shilpa Thakur and all committee heads. Students were briefed about college vision, mission, NEP 2020, activities conducted in college, rules and regulations to be followed in college etc.
Orientation Day 1
Orientation Day 1 was conducted on 16th June 2025 for FYBAF students. The session included an introduction to NEP 2020, college examination guidelines, student council and cultural committee activities, anti-ragging and unfair means awareness, and an overview of the college functioning. The day concluded with guidance regarding the Mathematics Bridge Course

Orientation Day 2 was conducted on 17th June 2025 and included informative sessions on the National Service Scheme (NSS), library facilities, e-learning resources, administrative services, and entrepreneurship development. The students also participated in a yoga session that focused on mental and physical well-being

Orientation Day 3
Orientation Day 3 was conducted on 18th June 2025 and included sessions on research opportunities through Avishkar, career guidance and placements, student discipline and code of conduct, scholarship schemes, and extra-curricular activities in sports and fitness. The day concluded with the collection of entry-level feedback from the students
An introductory session on Avishkar, a research paper competition for undergraduate students, was conducted to encourage students to participate in research and innovative learning activities
A lecture on career opportunities in BAF was conducted, where students were guided about various career paths and how to effectively tackle the challenges they may face in their academic and professional journey
A lecture on extra-curricular activities was conducted to make students aware about the college gymkhana, sports facilities, and the college turf, encouraging them to participate in health, fitness, and sports activities
At the end of the session, feedback was collected from the students to understand their experience and to ensure that the orientation sessions were clear and informative
