Meet a cohort of accomplished MCC Alumni representing various sectors and boasting extensive expertise in their respective fields:

Graduates of Batch of 2000:

CA Sachin Mhaske: He has been practicing as a Chartered Accountant since 2007 and currently operates an office in Thane with a team of 20 employees. His areas of expertise include taxation, auditing, and finance. Additionally, he is actively involved in the work of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Ms. Ruchi Kumbhat: She is an ACC—Associate Certified Coach—certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). she is also the founder of 'ON MI WAY,' a startup that offers courses and workshops for teenagers, focusing on fostering clarity of thought, ownership, and growth through self-discovery and soft skills development.

Ms. Nisha Utekar: She is currently serving as the Office In-charge (SFC) at Mulund College of Commerce.

Mr. Ramesh Shanbhogue: He is a Chartered Accountant, LLB, and holds a Master of Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. A graduate of the 2000 batch, he is currently working as the Vice President - Government and Regulatory Affairs in the Global Policy function at MSCI Inc. His areas of expertise include regulations on Sustainable Finance, ESG, Benchmarks, and Index Providers. Prior to MSCI, he has worked with Capgemini, Thomas Cook, the Kotak Group-led Commodity Exchange, and the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd. (NCDEX) in the Compliance function.

Ms. Anjali Joshi: She holds an M.Com and a PGDM in Finance from Symbiosis, Pune, and has 23 years of experience in Capital Markets. She is the Proprietor of 'Mutual Mudra,' an Investment Advisory Firm. Along with that, she is a Corporate Trainer conducting sessions on Financial Literacy. She also contributes as a guest writer for Maharashtra Times and is currently writing a series on stock markets titled 'बाजाराचा सारीपाट'.

Mr. Kunal Joshi: Kunal Joshi holds an MBA in International Business and has 20 years of experience in EXIM and AR Finance. He is currently working as the Regional Finance Manager at Flender Drives Pvt. Ltd., a German multinational company.

CA Kedar Prabhudesai: He is a Chartered Accountant with 23 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to starting his consulting practice four years ago, he was the Chief Risk Officer at L&T Finance Ltd. Currently, he serves as an Advisor to the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) in Risk Management and is also a Board Member of Dombivli Nagri Sahakari Bank Ltd.

Meeta Watve: She holds an MBA in Finance and is the Managing Director and CEO of Add Wealth Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. With over 15 years of experience in the stock market and advisory qualifications, she brings rich expertise in the field.

CA Abhay Kamat: He is a practicing Chartered Accountant and a partner at Mukund M. Chitale & Co., specializing in Audit and Assurance Services. He has been associated with various study groups at ICAI and is a regular speaker at professional seminars across India, sharing his expertise on a wide range of professional topics. CA Santosh Kumar Ojha: He has 40 + years of experience in charitable trusts and NGOs. His work focuses on ecological balance, education, elderly care, human development, economics and environmental protection, earning him the Shikhar Puruskar 2021 award. (Graduate of batch of 1982)

Mr. Pradeep Tendulkar: He is retired from AIR INDIA as a Manager after a successful career in the aviation sector. (Graduate of batch of 1982)

Mr. Sunil Sathe: He is the former Managing Director & CEO of TJSB Sahakari Bank Ltd. He brings with him vast experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently, he serves as an Industry Expert on the Academic Council of Mulund College of Commerce (Autonomous) and is also a member of the College Development Committee, actively contributing to the institution’s academic and strategic initiatives. Mr. Ajay Apte: He has over 39 years of experience in the banking sector, having worked with one of the top nationalised banks for 34 years and later with a leading cooperative bank for 5 years. He is now retired upon superannuation. (Graduate of batch of 1984)

Mr. Pramod Mate: He retired in November 2023 from Bank of India as a Senior Manager, after serving for over 39 years across various branches — Rural, Urban, and Metro. During his career, he held several key roles, including Branch Head for over 7 years, Credit Analyst & Relationship Manager at the Corporate Banking Branch, Worked in the CDR Cell and Vigilance Department. Mr. Satish Bagwe: He retired in March 2024 from STATE BANK OF INDIA as Assistant General Manager after serving for more than 39 years in various branches such as Rural, Urban, Metro. (Graduate of batch of 1984)

Mr. Milind Likhite: He recently retired from LIC of India as a Divisional Manager after serving the organization for over 40 years. (Graduate of batch of 1984)

Mr. Gajanan Gadgil: He has completed M.Com. and Inter CA and is currently working as a Tax Adviser in Kalyan. He has also taught honorarily at Padgha College, Padgha, Bhiwandi, which is run by Chhatrapati Shikshan Mandal, Kalyan — an organization associated with RSS. (Graduate of batch of 1984)

CA Satish Mane: He is a practicing Chartered Accountant and a partner at Vijay Shetty LLP. He serves as a Trustee and Advisor to various local trusts and has made significant contributions to the Rotary Organisation. Currently, he is the District Advisor to the District Governor and 115 clubs in Thane. He has received multiple awards from Rotary International for his outstanding work. In recognition of his contribution to social and community development, he was also honoured with the prestigious 'Thane Bhushan' award by the Thane Municipal Corporation. Mr. Sanjeev Malhotra: He is currently the CFO of DEVAA, a leading readymade garment brand. He also serves as the CEO of INDIAN LIBRARY, India’s first 24/7 self-study centre for students, which has benefited more than 28,000 students. (Graduate of batch of 1984)

CA Vinaya Marathe: She is currently Core faculty at Mulund College of Commerce. (Graduate of batch of 1984)

Mr. Rajendra Joshi: After having served in the industry in various responsibilities, he retired a couple of years ago. Currently, he is doing freelance work for a mid-sized CA firm in Thane (Graduate of batch of 1984)

Mr. Umesh Patil: He joined Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and served for 36 years, retiring as a Superintendent from T-Ward, Mulund. Currently, he is involved in LIC Mediclaim and handles other financial instruments with Gold Service. (Graduate of batch of 1986)

Mr. C R Ramakrishna (President): He is the Director of RG Manpower Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and Director - Medical at the Rotary Club of Mumbai Bhandup. He also serves as a Trustee of The South Indians' Organisation and is actively involved in the management of Vani Vidyalaya High School & Junior College. Additionally, he is the President of the Vani Vidyalaya Alumni Association. He is an active member of various social initiatives and community activities. (Graduate of batch of 1978)

Mr. Mahendra Teredesai (Vice-President): He is an accomplished Writer, Director, and Filmmaker with a distinguished career in Marathi theatre and films. He brings extensive expertise in storytelling, direction, and production, with a portfolio that includes advertising, corporate films, and mentoring at esteemed educational institutions, promoting theatre, filmmaking, and film appreciation. Serving as a Jury Member for National and State Film and Theatre Awards Contributing articles to prominent magazines and dailies on theatre and film topics. (Graduate of batch of 1981)

CA Pramod Lele (Secretary): He was Ex-professor & Head of Department of Accounts in Mulund College of Commerce (Autonomous). He retired from Mulund College of Commerce (Autonomous) after 35 years' service Jan 23. He was Vice Chairman, Chairman & Secretary of Thane Branch of Chartered Accountants of India 2013-14, 2014-15 &.2015-16. Also, he was the member of CSR committee in WIRC in 2024-25. CA Bhavesh Thakkar (Joint-Treasurer): He is currently the CEO of Prosecure Investment Consultant, managing a portfolio of over 5,000 clients, and the Co-founder of One Stop NRI Advisory Pvt. Ltd., offering comprehensive financial solutions for NRIs. With over 25 years of experience, he has successfully guided 5,000+ clients, including CAs, doctors, corporate employees, and retirees, in creating sustainable passive income across various financial verticals. Deeply passionate about financial literacy, he specializes in investment planning, taxation, and wealth creation strategies. He has also been a speaker at several prestigious platforms, including Dr. Reddy’s, CA Study Circle Abu Dhabi, Cooper & JJ Hospital, Rotary Club, and many more, sharing valuable insights on financial literacy and wealth management.
